FAQS

Our vegan perioperative supplements are designed for people preparing for surgery or recovering after surgery across surgical specialties, as well as for people seeking nutritional support during musculoskeletal rehabilitation or for long-term bone-health goals. Whether a particular product is right for you depends on your operation, health conditions, medication, and your clinician’s instructions.

Only if your surgical or anaesthetic team confirms that you may do so. The timing and permitted volume of any drink before a procedure depend on your operation, anaesthetic plan, medical history, and hospital policy. For many healthy adults having elective procedures, professional guidance permits carbohydrate-containing clear liquids up to 2 hours before anaesthesia, but this does not apply to everyone and does not override your individual fasting instructions.

Once your clinical team has confirmed that you may drink and eat, RECOVER may be used according to its label directions as a nutritional adjunct. Surgical nutrition guidance supports returning to oral intake as early as clinically appropriate, with your surgical team determining what is safe after your specific procedure.

Do not assume that a nutrition product is automatically compatible with medication. If you take any prescription or over-the-counter medicine, use other supplements, have a medical condition, or are preparing for surgery, show the full product label to your pharmacist, surgeon, anaesthetist, or other healthcare professional before use. This is particularly important for anticoagulant or antiplatelet medicines, diabetes medicines, GLP-1 receptor agonists, and medicines that affect stomach emptying.

Our formulations are evidence-informed: they are developed with reference to relevant nutritional science and clinical guidance. That is different from claiming that every finished product has itself been tested in a clinical trial. We distinguish carefully between established nutrition principles, evidence for individual ingredients, and direct clinical evidence for a named Rebound product.
